CZECH TOUR 2021 & EUROPEAN SENIOR TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2021

We would like to invite you most cordially to our chess events for summer 2021:

XXXII. CZECH OPEN PARDUBICE
15th July – 1st August 2021

International Chess and Games Festival

GM Open, 2 FIDE Opens, 4-member team tournament, rapid, blitz  and other side tournaments

Tournaments in Bridge, Scrabble, Shogi and other board games

The registration deadline without an extra fee for the late enrolment has been prolonged by 7th July 2021.

As last year, the festival will take place in the newly reconstructed and air-conditioned halls of the IDEON congress center in Pardubice.

The valid restrictions of the Ministry of health and National sports agency will be observed throughout the festival. Participants will sign a declaration about vaccination, passed illness, having the negative antigen or PCR test. Alternatively, it will be possible to take an antigen test at the venue for 2 EUR.

Movement at the venue will be probably restricted by wearing the respirators, although the participants will play without the masks. Further news will be announced at the festival website.

We will put most effort to provide you as comfortable conditions as possible and believe that we will all enjoy the event.

Categories 50+ and 65+

AVE-KONTAKT was commissioned by the European Chess Federation to organize this important chess event.

With this event, we want to follow up on the successful World Championship of senior teams from last year. This year, the event will move to the beautiful Hotel Don Giovanni (where the 3 years of the prestigious Prague International Chess Festival have taken place here), which offers great conditions for play, accommodation, meals and leisure activities. We also managed to negotiate interesting prices for accommodation (eg 1 bed in a 2-bed room with breakfast for 30 EUR, etc.) Take advantage of the unique opportunity to play with chess legends.

Teams and players can participate regardless of their rating.

CZECH TOUR 2021 and 2022

Dear chess friends,

Let us announce you that the registration deadline for Hradec Kralove Open without an extra fee for the late enrolment was prolonged by 1st November 2021. You can see the preliminary list of registered players at the link below.

The registration deadline for the upcoming Brno Open is 9th November. You can also register for winter festivals in January and February 2022.

Playing conditions will remain the same as they were in the summer so that players will be able to put off masks during the game. At the registration, players will have to present either a certificate of vaccination, a negative PCR / antigenic test or undergo a self-test on site.

Throughout the festival, hygiene measures will be taken in accordance with the regulations of the Czech government, public health office and the national sport agency. The exact wording will be continuously updated on the website wwwczechtour.net.
